He was an American Methodist minister and gospel music composer.
This is the Valerie June version from the album “The Way of the Weeping Willow” from 2006. It contains lyrics from "Worried Man Blues" A folk song in the roots music repertoire. Like many folk songs passed by oral tradition, the lyrics vary from version to version.. And lyrics from Herman "Junior" Parker’s “Mystery train” written in 1953 + lyrics from “Monday Morning Blues” by Mississippi John Hurt.
